(Athi River Campus: Sun, 3rd Aug 2025) A Daystar University School of Law team of Mooters comprising of Yvon Kendi and Alex Kimani (above), Velma Adhiambo, Innocentia Anyango, Ayub Okayo (Lead Team Coach), Abbigail Omondi (Team Coach) and Stacey Maina (team coach) emerged winners in the Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot Competition which took place at Daystar University Main Campus Athi River, from Friday 1st August to Sunday 3rd August. 

The win catapults the team to the global rounds scheduled to take place in Boston, USA, from 29th October to  5th November 2025. 

The three-day competition hosted 16 teams from African universities.
